Miami usually hosts various types of high-level international meetings and this April 7 and 8 will host one that involves a key part of the economic fabric of the countries: family businesses, which constitute 75 percent of the total of private companies and generate two thirds of employment in Latin America. The conference will be virtual and are called I Latin American Congress on family office management, that is, they will focus on a primary area in the administration of these companies. Representatives of fifty companies on the Continent have confirmed their attendance. It is called family office or family office to a group of experts in different subjects that advises family businesses. Parra argues that family businesses are magnificent in many ways, but they carry a number of particular challenges, given their nature. «You have to work with the human factor to avoid mixing business issues with personal ones,» he exemplifies.
